TAG: Would you rather? ~ Beauty Edition

Because of my lack of inspiration I decided to do some sort of tag post. I was looking around on youtube and google, finally I came across this tag : Would you rather, beauty edition. There are about 14 questions that I will try to answer.

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

Easy one for me, I would rather lose all of my palettes and eyeshadows. Simply because I don’t have a lot of them and I don’t wear it on a daily basis. But mascara is something I can’t live without, when I don’t have a lot of time it’s the only product I will use.

My favourite mascara : MaxFactor False Lash Effect Black

2.Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

Definitely to never be able to cut it again, my hair is a difficult topic. I have really thin hair and don’t have a lot of it, so having to live without hair would be like hell for me.

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

If I have to be honest, I don’t use any blush, so this question is difficult for me. If I have to make a choice, I would go for a pink cheek, that’s the most natural for me.

My Shoe Collection, part 2!

In my last post I gave you an exclusive look in my sneaker and boots collection. Today I’m here with my favourite part, the heels and sandals. I took 2 pictures of every pair of heels, so you can see the height. Let’s go!

My first pair of heels I’ve ever bought, I was 13 years old and saw these pretty shoes in Esprit. My dad wasn’t too happy about me buying them, he said the heel was way too high for me (what?), but my mom could convince him and there were my first heels! I’ve worn them a lot on holiday and in spring and summer, they are very comfortable shoes and don’t hurt at all. But now they have moved to the back of my closet, because I’m all for higher heels. 😉

My Shoe Collection, part 1!

Today I decided I wanted to share my passion for shoes with you, so I’m going to show you my shoe collection. The quote by Coco Chanel is like a life motto to me, good shoes are a must for me. You can tell by a women her clothing and shoes if she has put some thought in her appearance, but we don’t need to look like supermodels these days, everyone is pretty in their own way.

Now enough with the rambling, let us begin with the first pair of shoes.

This is my first pair of sneakers, just simple black converse. I decided six months ago that I also wanted the experience the hype behind the all stars, as I saw everyone walking around with them. I have to say that these shoes are not the best I’ve ever had, to begin with they are way overpriced, they retail for about 65/70 euros. But I decided I still wanted to try them, good luck that I didn’t have to walk a lot the first time I wore them, my feet were killing me and some of my toes were bleeding… Now after six months the shoes aren’t as bad as before, but I only use them to go to University or to work with.

Now we are talking, these are my beloved Vans. As you can see I have two pairs of them, the left ones are an old school red version and the right ones are a more green/blue type. The red Vans are perfect for in winter, as they are thicker than the originals. I bought them while I was in London and for a complete bargain, I only paid 28,50 pounds. The green Vans are made of a thinner material and are likely to get more dirty, but they are fine for in summer and look cute when you have a nice tan.

Hi, welcome to my new blog!

Hello everyone!

I’m so happy that I finally decided to start a blog. I’ve had this idea in my head for quite a while and now I’ve finally put it into action.

Let me first start off by telling you something about myself. So as you maybe can tell my name is Valeria. Before you start asking me if I’m from Italy or Spain because of my name, I will explain to you I’m not. I actually live in Belgium and my mom is from Ukraine, so I’m a mix and have no relation with the southern countries. 😉

I’m 18 years old and I’m now in my first year of University, where I am studying applied linguistics. This sounds very posh and difficult, but it’s just three languages that we’re learning. Those are Dutch, English and Spanish. As a student I don’t have a lot of options so I still live with my parents in the beautiful city that is Antwerp.

Now as the time continues you will probably get to know me better, but as for this moment I believe I said the most important information.

My blog will consist of Fashion, Make-up, Food and Travel posts, I hope you can enjoy reading my posts and will maybe learn something out of it.

I’ll see you next time!
